Helping small businesses in the UK after the COVID-19 lockdown, Instagram organized a chapter for them. It’s the Small Business Mentoring program. The program aims to mentor these businesses on strategies along with social commerce tools and opportunities.
Participants in this program will be working with creators to find creative tricks.
The program also includes training and coaching sessions, where participants will work one-on-one with a business mentor including a 3-month content plan and virtual coaching session.
The app will charge businesses £1,000, which will be used towards granting an advertising credit.
According to Brand Development Lead, Gord Ray said: “The past 18 months have been tough for small businesses and this mentorship program is about supporting and helping business owners hone their creative and commercial skills in the digital space. This is a real opportunity for those looking to learn more about social commerce, creator content strategy, and Instagram advertising.”
He adds: “Small businesses have an unprecedented opportunity to re-shape the way people engage with and buy from their brands – we want to make sure they seize it. We hope this mentorship program will bring ambitious small businesses together, encourage creativity, and help ‘the nation of shopkeepers’ accomplish great things in the run-up to the holiday period, and beyond”.
